* The easiest way to increase sales would be to start serving the schools and local businesses again. We have the equipment to do so (large to-go coolers and extra blenders)

* The other way would be to add a Cold Stone to the location. as Cold Stone is under the same franchise umbrella. The space is big enough and there is not much ice cream shop competition in the proximity – and being so close to Kell High School could be a potential gold mine.

* Ways to cut expenses would be for the new owner to be an owner operator and eliminate the general manager salary of $43,200. This alone would make the store profitable as is – with none of the adjustments above

* Items are cheaper by the unit – in general – if the owner had time to shop at Sam’s/Costco/Restaurant Depot. All one needs is the time to shop at these places versus ordering from Merchants

* We already spent around $250k on the build-out and initial equipment which will of course be savings to the new owner

* The location could be changed to a new concept like a sub shop, candy store, full on ice cream store
